The commentator was making comparisons in a mocking way.

If this were a "news" story about the white guy, why was Floyd mentioned ? 

I don't think the purpose of the video had anything with the old story about the poor tortured white guy. Actually I think it was quite disrespectful to the white guy's memory to dig this up for such nefarious political reasons.

Not digging it up, though it happened in 2016, video was recently released by Dallas PD. Black Lives Matter should just get over it, there are more whites killed by cops than blacks.
