Quote:In remarks Wednesday night at an event hosted by Hillsdale College, Barr had called the lockdown orders the “greatest intrusion on civil liberties in American history” since slavery.
He is absolutely correct. Now if he would prosecute all those tech companies denying free speech to the public, he'd being doing something worthwhile.
Equating voluntary mask guidelines to slavery totally confirms that we are a spoiled, fat and lazy society. And probably don't deserve some of the freedoms out founders fought for.

That's not what he equated, it was LOCKDOWN ORDERS!
Lockdown orders ? You mean wearing a mask ?
If you are under house arrest, which is what the lockdown was, you didn't need to wear a mask. Masks came later.
I totally missed this "lockdown". Never once was I told I couldn't leave my house.
I do, however, buy into the idea that wearing a mask in places where I can't distance is a decent thing to do for others.
I'm simply repeating what your lefty friends called it.
