For simply conducting business.

It's hard to feel sorry for MLB. They will survive and thrive no matter what.

But if there ever was government treachery. This would a textbook example.

That's the beauty of our constitutional republic. Hypocrisy is allowed without recrimination from the government.
That's as ridiculous as the effing POS democrats response.

Are they proposing legislation for the sole purpose of punishing private businesses individuals ?  If so, I'm against it.

Mitch sez:

In a statement Monday, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell accused corporations that oppose the laws of acting like a "woke alternative government."
He warned that this "will invite serious consequences if they become a vehicle for far-left mobs to hijack our country from outside the constitutional order."

It is entirely a false premise to start off saying this is voter suppression.
It is by definition "voter suppression "
explain how.
It requires certain kinds of government identification to vote — not typically owned by low income and minority communities. And it shortens early voting days. The law also makes it illegal to offer food or water to would-be voters standing in long lines to cast their ballots. Election officials closed polling places across the state, leaving even fewer available in mostly Black communities. The long lines are a discriminatory signature of Black voting areas — but not in mostly white communities where there are more polling places relative to the population and voters rarely stand in line.
