Maybe because the prosecutors haven't memorized the pledge yet. Thus the need for the Love America Act.

But to change the subject. The prosecutors charge alleged perps with crimes they could get a conviction for.

It's the only thing resembling a "law" in article. Not to mention it was the subject of the thread, until you got confused.

The headline called them insurrectionists. Why is no one charged with insurrection?
