Ronnie Spector has died.
I watched one of the Ronettes videos when I heard the news.I loved them. I had a crush on all three of them with their exotic looks and slutty makeup. I had read Ronnie's book and the parts of her life with evil musical genius Phil was just horrible. That guy was off his rocker. This is a sad day.

I too had a crush on her. In Paul McCartney and Rick Rubin's Hulu documentary, McCartney mention her as his idol and major influence on the Beatles. This was before she died. At first I found that odd, but when you listen to the Ronettes interpretation of "Be my Baby" it has Beatles written all over it, even though the Beatles could never come close to harmonizing like that.
