I remember seeing this young lady on all the talk shows years ago after she had healed from a shark attack while surfing. Her poise, positivety, determination, and never-give-up attitude was an inspiration and a real-life example to never be a defeatist even when one has experienced a horrible handicap. After all these years she has continued her life in the world of competitive surfing against those not handicapped.
Occasionally, over the years, I have wondered what happened to her. Well, today she was in the news again. And, again today she impressed the hell out of me.
