Last week I watched RT's live coverage of peaceful demonstration against the vulgar sentences handed down by the Spanish courts against leaders of the separatist movement for Catalan. Today, I checked in on these demonstrations and Madrid had brought in the National Police and things have turned violent.

If a people wants to separate from a country let them go, let them go peacefully. In this case I've heard Barcelona is just too profitable to the Spanish government to let them go. Good luck to those seeking freedom from Spain.
