Since when ?
Where a Justice comes down on a decision is one of the most predictable events in nature. How could this happen if justices didn't have political agenda ?Even a bookie wouldn't make any money on court decisions. So, I don't think anybody should feign surprise with Kavanaugh's display of political hackery during that circus in the Senate hearings. He is a political hack. He was nominated to overturn Roe v Wade, period. It was a promise made by Trump.
Ford's testimony was deemed credible by almost everybody, including me. Something happened. It is sad to say, but aside from the smothering, it was a "boys will be boys" situation played out often by alcohol fueled powerful frat boys during that era. Sexual assaults portrayed in movies like Animal House, Porkys etc were considered funny. I do believe it should be disqualifying, but the corroberating evidence is not there, atleast yet.
My problem with Kavanaugh is his predispostion to overturn Roe v Wade. I personally have no skin in that game, and I find abortion distasteful. And I don't know anybody who has or will get an abortion. But I believe it tryanny at it's highest for government to force control over a person's body. For the SC to make those decisions would be the ultimate in "legislating from the bench". Liberties would have to be taken on the 4th, 9th and 14th amendment as well as redefining the traditional meaning of "personhood".

I got a good laugh this morning when the talk show guys on WCBM Radio were discussing the fifty-something woman with the fake voice of a frightened five-year-old girl who claims to have complete, 100% amnesia about the details of the alleged boob-grabbing attempt by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh 36 years ago. They referred to her as Christine Ballsy Fraud. Ha!
(I wonder if her father and grandfather, who are both lifetime CIA employees, taught her to talk like that. Or if her supposed memory loss has anything to do with her husband’s company, a CIA-linked outfit that reportedly specializes in mind-altering drugs. Or how she manages that CIA employee recruitment program at her place of employment, Palo Alto University, with such a bad memory).

Recently, I put several items for sale on one of those Buy Trade, Sell sites. I have bought a few things off of them but never tried selling anything. Trying to clear out some stuff we never use or have no use for, we thought that might be a way to make some space and make a few bucks in the process. We posted the items and had almost instantaneous responses. There must be people with nothing else to do but monitor these sites and who want to be the first to respond to any new item listed, not necessarily being an actual buyer, but a browser. Anyway, the first to respond were, I would guess, ignorant, inbred, under-educated slugs sitting around in bathrobes drinking cough syrup.
The first message we got was, "wat rong wit it." The next was, "wat the lowest price u go?"
This went on for half-a-day. We didn't respond to any of these morons, but I was tempted. By the end of the day the items had sold to some folks who had asked intelligent and inquisitive questions.
I bring this up because I saw an ad that gives a clear picture of the typical person you are dealing with responding to these ads. Check it out below

OH Lord I just have to comment tonight on a post I saw on my favorite unhinged Madison WI liberal blog.
Gregory Humphrey has a political blog. He keeps his nose buried in books, newspapers and far left news sites. But today this political junkie decided to step into the world of professional football and it was classic. Mr Humphrey makes no secret that he is a gay man and the pictures of his home and yard show impeccable taste. He may know a good alignment for a floral arraignment but would be stumped to explain a 1st down. Here are parts of his sports rant today.
"Today James and I sat outside most the day reading. Late this afternoon some passersby walked along and the topic of football came up. Green Bay was plowed under as we took in the sun. Yawn."
Ok that's not too bad.....but then he continued:
"a troubling story was told about the roughing from Clay Matthews. Apparently last week Mathews, more or less, lifted a player and drove him harshly into the ground. He was presented with a flag for that offensive behavior"
OMG That last line is a literary classic!! But he continues!
"the part that made me cringe was that instead of some strategic maneuver to make a play Matthews today used all of his weight to land squarely on a member of the other team. I know nothing about football but think Matthews plays dirty."
Wait a player makes a tackle and lands on a player of the other team, I guess he does not understand that is the idea to TACKLE the player on the OTHER team.
Like I said he is a pretty good writer but clearly has little to no understanding about the draw of sports for millions of people to watch as he says over-weight guys plowing into each other.
"This weekend was the start of fall, and today as breezes came off the lake leaves let go of trees and floated about. The sun was warm and there was every reason to be outside. That people hunkered indoors to see over-weight guys plow into each other says a great deal about the national pablum"
It was an enjoyable read and I did thank him for the brilliant piece on his blog. Now excuse me the second half of a bunch of over weight Lions and Patriots is about to begin,
