About 10 days ago my area had outages while they were trying to repair the outages caused by storms. In the process WPS blew up my computer. Thanks, assholes! I was gone last week up into the great northland for my annual trek away from everything, so the computer was not on my mind, at all. Now, I'll be busy and gone for the next two weeks before I can do anything about it. So, the question is: Will you miss me?

After 20 years. It took 2 days. Did the Afghan people even want us there ? WTF.
I feel a sorry for the women, but I'm glad we're gone. But will we stay gone ? Kinda doubt it.

Now we know how Biden won
Quote:Jeffrey Clark, a Justice Department official appointed by former President Donald Trump, told senior officials that China used thermostats to change ballots in the 2020 presidential election.
In a recently released email originally sent December 2020, Clark asked his superiors - including acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen and deputy Richard Donoghue - to look into "foreign election interference issues."
Clark claimed hackers had evidence that "a Dominion machine accessed the Internet through a smart thermostat with a net connection trail leading back to China."
He said he hoped to use information gathered by US intelligence to determine whether the thermometers could make digital contact with voting machines in the United States.

Has a nice ring to it. Plus if anybody needs to be responsible for it, it would be him. No ?
CNN's Jim Acosta on delta variant: 'Why not call it the DeSantis variant?' (msn.com)
Quote:Acosta also bashed DeSantis for selling merchandise on his campaign website going after Anthony Fauci, President Biden's chief medical adviser, including koozies reading "Don't Fauci my Florida," as well as the governor's remarks telling Biden to focus on the border and not his state's mask policies.
"Perhaps it's time to start naming these new variants that may be coming out after them," Acosta said, referring to the GOP politicians. "Instead of the delta variant, why not call it the DeSantis variant?"
"We can sell beer koozies that say 'Don't Florida my Fauci' and use the money to pay for all the funerals in the days to come," he added.
