It's this kind of idiotic, half-truth attack that Mercola was speaking of in his article. It is not only stupid, but dangerous to the health of those seeking alternatives to the AMA. Even Mark Twain testified before Congress when they were deciding to give total control to the AMA for treatment in this country. He wisely warned against it. Unfortunately, that testimony has disappeared from the internet.

I've heard this nonsense that the US has the best healthcare in the world and argued against it for decades. It makes no sense, common or otherwise. France is a good example of a country that allows multiple forms of treatment, including homeopathic, which the government, until this year, paid for.

This country only allows (per insurance companies) allopathic (AMA) approved treatment. That's stupid and dangerous.The world is filled with treatments that have been around for thousands of years. Herbs, essential oils, Ancient Oriental medicine, Ayurvedic medicine practiced in India for over 3,000 years, healing foods, etc. “Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food.” Hippocrates
