Virginia’s Department of Education was required by law to create model policies for school boards regarding treatment of transgender students no later than December 31, 2020.
The Virginia law was passed in April 2020, the school policies were supposed to be in place 12.31.2020. Looks like Loudon County was late, regardless the state law came before that and only individual school policies were to follow. Again, the law was already enacted.
