We've been in touch with the family in San Antonio all day. No electric, no gas, no heat. Nothing is open because the roads are too dangerous to drive on. The 7th largest city in the country is locked down because of idiotic energy policies.
Need gas to go somewhere? Good luck. No electricity to pump gas. Need some cash from an ATM? Good luck, they ain't workin'. Your wind turbines are frozen and solar panels are useless. New Green Deal my ass.

It looks like my driving in the snow analogy was spot on.
The problem is it's a "Texas" thing, nothing to do with windmills.
And leave it to Carlson to spread the sweet victimhood to the poor Texans for being so stupid.

I'm nice and warm and have plenty of electricity here in WI. How can that possibly be? It's about 50 degrees colder here than Texas. Gee, I wonder if WI has no problem with gas and electric getting to homes because we don't rely on solar, wind and other resources Greta the snaky teenager pushes. However, if these gawddamn lunatic motherfuckers from the left, the Bolsheviks, get their way, we'll all be freezing in a couple of years. My response to any response on this subject can be said now and will be my final word. Here it is: FUCK YOU!

The "catastrophe" is here. And we've survived it somehow. Texas will never figure out that cold and snow thingy. The stories are legendary.
But I will agree with the point you are trying to make in a roundabout way:
New technology is um well, new. And will do "new" things more often than established technology.

I doubt if you could find Texas on a map. You know nothing about it.
