Literal book burning has arrived

Conservatives Are Just Openly Endorsing Book Burning Now | Vanity Fair

Amid the GOP’s nationwide push against teaching about race and sexuality in schools, two members of the Spotsylvania County School Board in Virginia advocated for burning certain books, according to the Fredericksburg-based Free Lance-Star newspaper. This came as the school board directed staff to begin removing “sexually explicit” books from library shelves, after voting 6-0 in favor of the removal, the Lance-Star reported. The board has plans to review how certain books or materials are defined as “objectionable,” the paper said, which opens the door for other content to be removed.

Courtland representative Rabih Abuismail and Livingston representative Kirk Twigg both championed burning the books that have been removed. “I think we should throw those books in a fire,” Abuismail said. Meanwhile, Twigg said he wanted to “see the books before we burn them so we can identify within our community that we are eradicating this bad stuff.”

This your concern? Really?

You have/had no problem with:

A sitting president being banned/censored from platforms he used to reach his constituents.

Complete suppression of any alternative views, both scientific and anecdotal, that isn't in line with CDC & WHO. There have even been instances of hard to find CDC & NIH information that got people thrown off of platforms.

Some platforms still have all the disinformation about Russiagate on their platforms though the entire thing has been debunked.

And the current egregious war on Kyle Rittenhouse being blocked by Go Fund Me, Paypal and the rest; the President calling him guilty before the trial even commenced, the FBI withholding video that clearly would help the defense, the entire Silicon Valley creeps not allowing any positive coverage of the kid on their platforms, The entire MSM reporting and repeating known lies about the Aug. 25th shootings and a continuous stream of calumny regarding the kid and withholding information on his attackers.

And here you are worried about taking porn out of libraries. Fuck You.

The people you mention don't read books. Neither do you. Nor have any of you ever set foot in a library, so you don't understand the danger of book burning. Nor do you have an inkling of history.

Ma Twitter is really not your mother, You should quit acting like it is.

Again, you can't comprehend even a simple question. I asked, Name the last historical book you went to the library to take out.

Go to your frickin Google and type in 'historical books' and see what comes up, or you could go to your library and ask them.
