Denigrating UNZ
#1
In an earlier post today there was an attempt to denigrate UNZ, either Ron Unz or his website, calling it racist.

Probably many people don't know about Ron or his website. To remedy this I give you his 'masthead'
 https://www.unz.com/masthead/

Here you can read his mission statement, more about Ron, his education, accomplishments, beliefs etc.

There are quotes from distinguished people of note that speak to his intellect, brilliant writing, analysis, and thinking.

To give you an idea of what his pages are all about, here is a bit of it:
Does The Unz Review stand behind all the controversial claims made in the articles it publishes?

Absolutely not! In any event, that would be a logical impossibility, since so many of the writers and their arguments directly contradict one another. Each reader must carefully weigh the logic and evidence backing the viewpoint of each author and decide for himself how much—or how little—of the material to accept. Thinking for yourself is difficult but necessary. However, as publisher of The Unz Review, I do fully stand behind my own past writings, and over the years the corpus of my work has grown to include numerous major articles across a wide range of topics presenting ideas at least as controversial as almost anything else published on this website.

Quote from a Pulitzer Prize winning Journalist:
This book brings together in one volume these pieces from a variety of publications. Unlike other essayists on culture and politics, Unz shreds ideology and relies on statistical data to support his often groundbreaking ideas, such as his 2010 essay on “The Myth of Hispanic Crime.” And his 2014 efforts to put a $12 an hour minimum wage bill before California voters is an example of how the action of an individual can draw public attention to an issue he believes is necessary for the economic health of the Republic.

I can not express how disgusting it is to have some nitwit try to use a known Democratic dog whistle to besmirch such a well-intentioned man.

From Wiki:
Quote:The Unz Review is an alt-right website which describes itself as an alternative to the mainstream media.[2] It contains articles and content that promote white nationalism, the international Jewish conspiracy, Holocaust denial, the white genocide conspiracy theory, racialism pseudoscience and eugenics. Many of its most frequently featured commentators actively promote violence and genocide against Jews, African Americans and other immigrants.

The Editor-in-Chief of The Unz Review is Ron Unz, who is ethnically Jewish.[3] He not only tolerates the antisemitic content posted on his website, he now actually partially endorses antisemitic nonsense like the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (although he does admit that the Protocols is a fabrication and not, as Henry Ford and others claimed, a document actually authored by an international Jewish conspiracy). This means he is a contemporary example of that unusual and disturbing phenomenon: a self-hating Jew
