And they call this an Education bill LOL

Quote:The Republican measure would allow a parent or guardian to sue a school district or school official if they don’t allow parents to:

Determine the names and pronouns used for the child while at school.
Review instructional materials and outlines used by the child’s school.
Access any education-related information regarding the child.
Receive advance notice of any polls or surveys conducted in the child’s classroom.
Request notice of when certain subjects will be taught or discussed.
Opt out of a class or instructional materials for reasons based on either religion or personal conviction.

Call it what you want but the schools can be sued if they don't

Absolutely.

It's a bill simply meant to encourage disruption and ill will towards their child's school.

Yer right, parents have absolutely no right to know what happens in a classroom. Parents need to mind their own business when it comes to teachers, schools and education.

Teachers love to talk to parents. Try that first before punishing the school. What parent would want to hurt their kids' school ?

Here is who is behind the legislation

Maybe they can ask their kids, look at the homework, help with the homework, show up for PTA meetings, show up for teacher conferences, show up the band recitals, volunteer for school functions.

Or get a lawyer I suppose.
