A light bulb is a light bulb. I know this from experience. It's ok to be a dumbass and burn incandescent bulbs for the shear sake of being dumbass. But in the this case your dumbassery affects other people. We are already "tooled" for this very easy energy and cost saving measure. To say it's a slam dunk benefit would be an understatement.
