Time for some music
#10
We need  more music and love in the world.
Anyway, here are three selections.

I recently discovered this while looking for some Bob Babbitt videos. Joan Osborne with the Funk Bros. This is a Motown thing I'll definitely be revisiting.

As an aside, I know nothing about Joan Osborne, but she is a doppelganger for my wife's niece.

I love older country music from a certain time period. A lot of the times it wasn't necessarily the vocals but the songs and the story.  When I was much younger and a rock dude I thought Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn sucked. Man, they could tell a heart-felt story. But, I never dismissed this singer. Ray Price. Here's a live performance of the great Willie Nelson composition, "Night Life".  An extra bonus is the world's greatest pedal steel guitar player, Buddy Emmons, knocking it out of the park with his fills.

Oh, what to hell, here's Buddy at the same concert taking the spotlight.

As a former professional guitar player, I love guitar. Never in my dreams did I ever believe I would hear anyone like Pasquale Grasso. This is him playing solo with no overdubs or accompaniment. The song is "All the Things You Are".

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
